Late last night I came home from my girlfriends baby shower, and was sent Mayday Parade's new album "Anywhere But Here." Now because I love to have the lyrics my buddy Patrick and I listened to all the songs and typed up all the lyrics. THANKS! AT&T MMS Now Live?

Not everyone has gotten the new carrier update for the iPhone 3G S. We'll if you're tired of waiting for the AT&T to release the Carrier Update through iTunes I have a fool proof way!

You don't need to update to 3.1 either, so those of us who are awaiting the Jailbreak for 3.1.

Your iPhone on the 3.0 still can get MMS, YAY!

NOTE: This is only for iPhone 3G & 3G S users, if you have a 2G I believe it's time to go buy a new phone :-D

ANOTHER NOTE: Only for windows users, fuck the MAC.

Follow this simple step by step instructions to enable MMS.

Make sure iTunes is closed... I can't stress this enough, and it doesn't matter what iTunes you will be using.

First you must go into Command Prompt and type the follow:

cd C:\Program Files\iTunes\

If you are a 64 bit Windows user type this instead:

cd C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\

HIT ENTER.

Now type:

iTunes.exe /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

CLOSE your Command Prompt

Now you're going to need the Carrier Settings File, I will provide you with it.

AT&T 5.1 Carrier Settings

NOTICE: This file is an .IPCC not a .IPSW

Once you have the Carrier Settings you are now ready to update, or are you?

With the new iTunes 9, Apple has disabled the ability to update your carrier settings.

Don't worry I have a way around this BS.

REMEMBER: iTunes must be CLOSED.

Open your Command Prompt again.

Type: "C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

^ Must be typed exactly how I have it. with the "s and all.

For 64 Bit:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

CLOSE your COMMAND PROMPT again...

NOW you're ready...

Connect your iPhone to your PC and open iTunes.

Shift click the Update Button and on the bottom right click the drop down box and select:

iPhone Carrier Configuration Files (.ipcc) <- If this is not showing up you fucked up and must start over.

LOCATE: the AT&T 5.1 Carrier Settings I provided you with earlier and click open.

A status box will appear saying Updating Carrier Settings, let it finish.

Once the box goes away, unplug your iPhone and restart your device.

Turn it back on, and go to your SMS. You will notice a lil Camera in a Circle to the left of the text box.

There you have it, you have just enabled your device to now send MMS. ENJOY!

EDIT!:

3.0 Carrier settings is set at AT&T 5.1.

3.1 Carrier settings is set at AT&T 5.5.

If you don't have your iPhone updated to 3.1, because you wanted to save your jailbreak you need to download 5.1 provided above.

Life In General

As you all know I will be having a baby very soon. And I work way too damn much to even do anything, I've been desperately trying to finish everything I have to do, but for some reason this isn't happening. I'm sitting at work right now trying to put everything together. I'm 21 and having so many financial issues. I live in an apartment with my girlfriend and our cat, Patrick. I work Monday - Wednesday on NIGHTS at the Hospital. Working from 7PM to 7AM really puts a hurt on my body. Yet, I still do more than what I'm required to do, home and at work. I make just about 700$ every two weeks. Seems like a lot from one job, $1400 a month. But it's not. Also currently I'm working every weekend at the Riggins gas station doing shift manager duty. Working 6AM - 2PM on Saturday and 2PM - 9PM on Sunday. Bringing in around 120$ a week. Still, NOT enough.

I don't think I'm going to be able to continue doing this side job of reviewing once Little Veto is born. That won't change my love for music. My priorities are just going to change a lot. Veto then work pretty much. IF you didn't know the due date it's supposed to be November 7th, but my sister swears he's going to be born on Halloween which would be fucking epic. Once this baby shower is over I'll be able to relax a little because it's just so stressful and dealing with the parents doesn't help.

Enough of venting, I'm vigorously working on the charts for Asking Alexandria on guitar hero 3, but this BPM, beats per minute, shit is getting too frustrating.
