Every Time I Die - New Junk Aesthetic "1st Impression"

The first thing I will say is New Junk Aesthetic > Felony. Haha, yeah as everyone was awaiting the anticipated release of Emmure's "Felony," thinking it was going to be one kick ass album. I got to hear it first, well not first but in advance, thanks to Victory Records, and boy were they pretty upset to find out that it wasn't anything to be "anticipated." But I'm not here to talk about Emmure. What I'm here to do is tell everyone about Every Time I Die's new album "New Junk Aesthetic."

Why are all "Death Metal" bands doing this to themselves, I ask myself as I'm listening to this record. ETID does almost exactly what Emmure does in their recent attempt "Felony" and yes "attempt" because my god was it truly an attempt to make a decent album, too bad they failed horribly, not only were the lyrics fucking ridiculous and horrible. ETID has better lyrics, guitar riffs, and percussion. The only thing that upsets me about "New Junk Aesthetic" is they did what Emmure did on "Felony."

Why must you repeat the same line like five times in a row? I mean I get it but damn, five times? Emmure's "famous" saying would be the "Oh Shit, What the Fuck Did I Just Do," I almost lose count on how many times he says it in that song. Every Time I Die does almost the same thing but because all together the album is better in every way it's a great listen to just rock the fuck out whether it be wearing headphones or even in your car. I'm not knocking this album completely but it could have been just a little better. The lyrics are capturing and the musicianship is not something you hear from the bands of the same genre.

I've went from "Roman Holiday" to "Goddamn Kids These Days" and I just say I did not waste 37 minutes and 30 seconds. To be honest I'd probably give it a few more listens before it got boring, but hey that's me. When you got too much music to listen to shit gets pretty boring fast especially if you're not a "die hard fan." With that being said, when the album leaks or comes out, Don't download it, BUY IT!

This is why I am, Who I am

I go by the name Antonio Vazquez. For those who don't know who I am this is the time to find out. I was born December 1st, 1987 making me 21 years old. Yeah, that's right old enough to go out and drink partying all night. That's really not how it is. I have grown to be a responsible person. I work two jobs although my part time job isn't the best. I work at the Riggins Auto/Truck Plaza Gas Station as my part time job, I hate it there but it's money you know? As for my full time job, I work at my local Hospital, Regional Medical Center, or it's easier to just say RMC. I work as a PT transporter. For those who don't know what PT stands for it just simply means patient. I'm the guy that goes into the PTs room and tells them they have a test to go to and either it be a wheelchair or a stretcher I have to put them on one or the other.

But the real reason I created this blog is to tell you about my side Hobby/Job. I only call it a hobby because I don't really get paid for it. I only get to work with amazing bands and numerous of labels/publicists. I write reviews, interview bands, and post news for the site we like to call THEiNTERLUDE. Don't mind the lower case I, I just have a addiction to writting things like that.

What this blog is really about, is how I went from someone who made some bad choices when dealing with music and how I respect every band I get to work with. I love what I do and couldn't ask for more. So please enjoy what you read on here. I will discuss my ridiculous music collection and advance music from the time I get to listen to it to the point where I can't take anymore.

I will also get into detail how you can be involved in what I do, if you are really that interested in working with bands this is your time, at least I think so anyway.

Don't worry this will be fun.
